Categories and subcategories
- Create or open a category under Product → Categories.
- Set the category title and page address. Edit the address suggested from the title if needed.
- Select a parent category when creating a subcategory.
- Set its image, content and status, then save.
Clothing → T-shirts → Sports T-shirts. Selecting a parent category creates this relationship in your catalogue.
Prepare category content
- Introduce the collection with a category image and add a relevant YouTube link.
- Edit category text in the upper and lower description fields.
- Prepare a category-specific meta title, meta description and meta image.
After saving the category, you can continue with block assignments and filter settings.
One product, multiple categories
You do not need duplicate products to list an item in different categories. Assign multiple categories and choose one as primary. A sports T-shirt can appear in both T-shirts and Sportswear.
Ordering within categories
A higher position in product settings places the product earlier in the list. This value is shared across all categories; there is no separate position per category. Lower or unset values appear later.
| Example product | Position and ordering |
|---|---|
| Product you want to prioritise | 100 — appears earlier |
| Another product | 20 — appears later |
