Enable the shipping integration first
Twicart shipping integrations send orders to a connected shipping service. Enable the integration you want in Plugins and complete its required connection settings. Use the enabled integration when sending orders.
Features added through Plugins may also add entries to the panel sidebar. Use the relevant entries for the settings and operations of your integration.
Prepare the order before sending
- Check the order number and contents.
- Review recipient name, delivery address and contact details.
- Check quantities and any personalisation requests.
- Review payment and order status against the actual workflow.
- Make sure the shipping integration is enabled and its connection settings are complete.
Send the order to the active shipping integration
Use the shipping action on the order screen to send the order to the integration enabled in Plugins. This connects the order record with shipping operations and brings store management and dispatch preparation together.
Review the result returned by the integration after sending. If information is missing or there is a connection issue, correct the relevant settings and order data. Sending data to the carrier and physically handing over the parcel are separate stages.
Example: preparing a personalised order
Imagine receiving an order for a shirt with a printed name. Check the name shown with the product and the quantity. Review the delivery address, add any preparation note and update the appropriate order status. Once the package is ready, send the order to the active shipping integration.
