Product personalisation

Collect product-specific text, selections, files or dates from customers. Personalisation details appear with the relevant product in the order.

01 / Guide

Make a product personal

Custom fields in product settings let customers provide information when buying. A sportswear shop can request the name to print on a shirt, while a printing service can ask customers to upload a file.

02 / Guide

Required fields, values and additional prices

  • Make a field required to collect essential information.
  • Assign a value to an input field.
  • Add a price to extra fields or options.
Example: a shirt with a printed name

Make the name field required and assign an additional personalisation price. The customer enters their name, and that information is carried into the order with the product.

04 / Guide

Information stays with the product in the order

Customer text, selected options, uploaded files and dates appear alongside the relevant product in order details. This lets you see which information belongs to which product during preparation.
