Records remain when a purchase is unfinished
Abandoned-cart customer records are retained and can be listed and reviewed in the panel. You do not need to enable email automation to follow unfinished purchases. Reviewing records and sending reminders are separate choices.
Automatic email is your choice
The store administrator can enable or disable automatic cart reminder emails. Records continue to be retained when email is disabled. When enabled, you can configure how long to wait before sending the reminder.
Review, schedule and follow up
Review abandoned carts in the panel. If you want automatic communication, enable email and set the delay. Follow completed purchases through Order and Sales Management.
