Performance is part of the design
At Twicart, speed is more than a score considered after a page is built. Rendering, image delivery and browser script load are considered together. The aim is a smooth store experience that helps visitors reach products and content.
Image optimisation with Next.js
Twicart serves images with Next.js optimisation. Product photos and category images are central to a store; their data load matters alongside visual quality. Image optimisation considers rich presentation and the loading experience together.
You choose photos that explain the product; the optimisation layer helps deliver them on the web. An image element appearing in HTML and its file downloading in the browser are different steps. SSR and image optimisation are complementary layers.
Reducing unnecessary script load
Removing unnecessary scripts is part of Twicart’s ongoing performance work. Reducing unused code load helps the browser devote resources to content and user interactions.
Third-party apps, tracking code, videos and design choices affect total load. Performance therefore needs to be considered alongside the content and tools a store uses.
A smooth experience for mobile and tablet visitors
Mobile and tablet use is central to our performance focus. Reading content, reviewing products and navigating should be straightforward on smaller screens. Page Builder’s combined Mobile & Tablet view helps you review the design with that experience in mind.
PageSpeed: aim high, measure the real page
PageSpeed assessments help guide performance work. Twicart aims for high performance; results depend on the published page, content, device and test conditions. Reviewing results with the date and tested URL helps identify improvements.
